Automated Collection in Alleys and Narrow Streets?
Do It With A Labrie Automizer Versa Hand™!
Collecting wheeled carts in tight areas like narrow streets and alleys with an automated unit has typically been difficult due to high fences and walls and other obstructions.
No longer! With the Labrie Automizer Versa Hand™, the latest in lifting arm technology, designed specifically to automate refuse and recyclable collection in difficult areas, it’s now possible. The Versa Hand, with its unique grabber synchronizing system, is also ideal for standard cart collection, since it can grab all sizes of wheeled carts ranging from 32 to 300 gallons.
Key features of the Versa Hand™ are its Zero-Grab ability, extending telescopically up to 126 inches for cart pick-up; and ZERO-Swing-out capability which allows it to grab and dump carts that are sidled up alongside fences or walls. The Automizer Versa Hand™ averages 140 stops/hour, is reliable day in-day out, incurs low monthly maintenance costs and is very user-friendly.
The smooth cushioning at the end of the Versa Hand’s™ “slide, grab & dump” cycle significantly decreases any rocking motion, a typical collection unit experiences at the end of a circuit, providing additional ergonomic benefits for the vehicle operator. Increased productivity! Productivity, safety and efficiency are driving forces behind this new unit.
The Labrie Automizer Versa Hand™ is a product of the Labrie Environmental Group, which also manufactures the Leach, Wittke, Juggler & Industrial Lifters brands of equipment for the solid waste industry.
