LABRIE ENVIRONMENTAL GROUP AHEAD OF THE PACK AT WASTE EXPO 2007

Leach & Wittke Brands on Display for First Time since Acquisition

JugglerTM First to Meet Protocol Requirements

July, 2007:  Once again, Labrie Environmental Group demonstrated its dedication to solid waste service providers by exhibiting the newest, most technologically-advanced platforms of waste collection vehicles at Waste Expo 2007, recently held at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta.

Interest levels were high among visitors and exhibitors alike, who over the past have recognized that Labrie Environmental Group is the only refuse collection vehicle manufacturer to consistently present innovative designs and options, every year at the industry's premier exhibition.

Attention centered on the new Leach rear loaders and all-new Wittke front loader; the first to be displayed by the Group since it acquired certain Leach assets from Federal Signal Corporation in late 2006.

Anxious fans were not disappointed with the Leach 2R-III and Alpha-III rear loaders on display.  Manufactured in accordance to the highest standards for which Labrie Environmental Group is known, the Leach platform, long recognized as the best rear loader ever built, embodies sturdiness, toughness, reliability, and safety.

At the busiest stand at the show, buyers were lining up to discuss orders for the Wittke Starlight™ front loader featured on an Autocar chassis.  Weighing only 15,500 lbs it offers the best payload in-class front loader; has the fastest cycle time and is built with HARDOX 450 steel.  The HARDOX steel, thinner and stronger all through the plate means that the unit is tougher and more abrasion and impact resistant than ever.  The high interest the Wittke generated proved that Labrie Environmental Group's decision to resuscitate the brand was what the market wanted.

"In a few weeks we will introduce the Wittke Superduty™.  It will not only offer the best legal payload in its class, but meet all the important requirements that commercial refuse & recyclable collection demands.  The new Wittke brand of front loaders, conjugated with the Hardox steel, represents what our company is aiming for:  greener, more efficient, smarter, and safer equipment for the solid waste industry," said Eric Tremblay, VP Sales & Marketing.

Of course, the Labrie Environmental Group's R & D division was not just busy putting rear and front loaders into production.  The Labrie side-loading units also arrived with innovative options, such as the Automizer Versa Hand™, the market-leading, fully-automated, side-loading vehicle equipped with a Hallco Live Floor™.  The moving floor inside the hopper allows the operator to fully-eject the load without raising the body to tilt-to-dump.  The cane-shaped Versa Hand automated arm, is the first zero-swing out, zero-grab arm, able to pick up 96 to 300 gallon carts flush against walls and fences; ideal to collect narrow streets and alleyways.

The modern looking stand also featured the Labrie Expertt 2000 Helping Hand, the most popular and versatile collection vehicle designed for manual, semi-automated, and fully-automated collection.  Today, there are over 3,000 of these vehicles on the roads of North America.  Extremely durable, many of the existing manual units are, due to the current trend to automate collection services, being retrofitted with automated arms at our manufacturing facility.  The Group is the only manufacturer offering the retrofit option.

Visitors were also shown the first 2007 emission-compliant Expert (t) Helping Hand collection vehicle on a Mack chassis, featured at the Mack stand.  No other manufacturer has yet to re-engineer its vehicles to 2007 emission standards, proving, once again, that Labrie is ahead of the pack.

"In the last year, the Labrie Environmental Group has introduced five new platforms to the market; expanded its production facility by 80,000 sq.ft; built and put into operation a 30,000 sq.ft customer support facility in Oshkosh, WI under the LabriePlus brand, offering service, parts, training and customer service, and expanded its distributor network to include over 50 dealers across North America" says Jean Bourgeois, CEO.  "We now have a complete range of vehicles to offer service providers and grow our market share," he added.
